Welcome Note

Welcome to the twenty-third issue of The Advantage. One change this week. I'm swapping Worth Watching for What I'm Working On. Instead of sending you to someone else's work, I'm showing you a piece of my own. Just for this week, then we're back to normal.

I just wrote it for every high schooler, college kid, and new grad who's been told AI is about to leave them unemployed and their degree worthless. The short version: they are nowhere near as screwed as the headlines say. Unless they ignore AI. Then they are. Preview below, full piece one click away.

After that, the Practical Edge — on the most expensive word a person can reach for. Let's get into it.

The line it's built around
"AI is not replacing ambitious people. AI is replacing people who refuse to become more useful."
